Rodger Decker Waters, age 55, died peacefully Friday, October 10, 2008 at his home in Overton, Nevada. He was born October 4, 1953 in Cedar City, Utah to Ronald Morgan and Retta Decker Waters.

Rodger grew up in Las Vegas. He moved with his family to Overton in 1976. He graduated from the Helen J. Stewart School for Handicapped Children in Las Vegas. He later worked at opportunity Village. Rodger was a special person that loved everyone unconditionally. He loved being with family and would always say "My Whole Family". He helped the family unity as they loved and served him.

Survivors include his father and mother, Ronald and Retta of Overton; two brothers and four sisters: Annette (Ross) Jones of Overton; Ronda (Louie) Chambers of Reno, NV; Jolene (Brad) Tanner of Springville, UT; Kevin (Lori) of Overton, NV; David of Georgia; Kristine (Loren) Young of Wyoming and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Logandale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the Logandale LDS Stake Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
