Robert C. Wilson
Robert Charles "Bob" Wilson, age 87, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 in St. George, Utah. He was born September 14, 1925 in Watertown, South Dakota to Robert Charles and Elvira Peterson Wilson. His parents died when he was very young and he was raised by his grandparents and his beloved Aunt Estelle. Robert was baptized and confirmed in the Grace Lutheran Church in Watertown. After graduation, he entered the US Navy, serving in the Pacific during WWII. After the war, he met and married the love of his life, the wonderful and beautiful Annette Martha "Ann" Goldammer. They relocated to Casper, Wyoming the day after their wedding. He worked as a geologist in the oil industry while they raised their two children. After retirement, they lived in South Dakota for ten years before moving to Mesquite, Nevada. He enjoyed making jewelry, hunting, and being on the water, boating and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Ann; his daughter, Shelley (Alan) Rasmussen of Mesquite, NV; his son, Rob of Denver, Colorado; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Mesquite Lutheran Church, 450 Turtleback Road, Mesquite, Nevada. Internment will follow in the Mesquite City Cemetery.
