Robert John Venuto

Robert John Venuto, age 73, passed away June 18, 2021 at his home in Mesquite, Nevada surrounded by his wife and children.  He was born July 9, 1947 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Genevieve Venuto.  He married Desiree Venuto on October 7, 2006 in Mesquite, Nevada.
Robert was raised in Chicago Illinois with his parents and two sisters.  Robert enlisted in the Navy and served five years.  While in the Navy he received the Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, RVN Campaign Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.  Robert was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1974.
Robert is survived by his wife, Desiree Venuto, of Mesquite NV; children, Erica Baig (Hammad) of McKinney, TX; Jennifer Mankowski (Ted) of Celina Texas; Jeffery Venuto (Carissa) of Corinth, TX; grandchildren, Sophia and DJ Baig, Emily and Caiden Mankowski, Melia Venuto, and Skye Steele; sister, Janet Caiffone, of CA.  He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Genevieve Venuto, and sister, Carol Filipponi.
