Robert George Smith Sr., 58, of Bunkerville, Nevada, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014.

Robert was born to William and Violet Smith in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 30, 1956. As a child he grew up and played in the beautiful surroundings of Wisconsin.

He married Janice Smith and raised a family of one girl and two boys. They enjoyed their lives together while raising their children. He enjoyed bowling with his family and friends. He bowled in the Wednesday Men's League and bowled in the National Bowling Tournament for 24 years. He also loved the game of golf and loved to brag about making a hole-in-one shot while he was playing with his son-in-law, Mike. He made the move to the Mesquite area, where lived the last 9 years of his life.

He lived his life with kindness and love and loved to show his family how much he loved them. He also loved his church and was also willing to serve others. His family will miss him because they loved him dearly, he will continue to be a big part of there lives.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, William Smith. He is survived by his daughter, AuraLee Gehl (Michael); sons, Robert Smith Jr, and Casey Smith (Dana); mother, Violet Smith; brothers, Richard, Smith (Colleen) of Milw. WI, Donald Smith (Dawn) of Grafton, WI., Ronald Smith of Grafton, WI., and Douglas Smith (Barbara) of San Diego, CA; and 7 beautiful grandchildren, Zaine Gehl, Miranda Gehl, Matteah Gehl, Robert Smith III, Autumn Lisser, Synoma Smith, and Gracie Smith.

Services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Mesquite Lutheran Church. The family invites family and friends to leave a memory or thought in their "Guestbook" at virginvalleymortuary.com.
