Robert Ray Johnston

Robert Roy Johnston, age 95, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at his home in Overton, Nevada. He was born on December 4, 1917 in Los Angeles, California to Roy and Zola Frances Joselyn Johnston. He married Julia Cortez on July 27, 1985 in Los Alomitos, California. Robert grew up and lived most of his life in Southern California. He served in the Air Force as a pilot and then worked as an inspector for Boeing Aerospace. In 2006, he and his wife moved to Overton. He owned his own plane and enjoyed spending time as a ham radio operator, boating and traveling in his RV. Robert also like to play golf. He is survived by his wife, Julia of Overton, son, Ray (Jessi) Ruiz of CT and one daughter, Sandra Johnston of Seal Beach, CA. Private Services will be held.
