Robert Charles Hayden

Robert (Bob) Charles Karr Hayden of Mesquite, Nevada wet to be with the Lord on May 9, 2014. Bob was born on December 10, 1926 in Ferndale, Michigan to Robert and Ada Hayden. He left high school early and enlisted in the Army Air Force in 1944. He received an honorable discharge in 1945, when the war ended. He then attended UCLA becoming involved in computer sales and was instrumental in introducing one of the first personal business computer systems. He was also involved in the insurance industry for over 20 years as well as receiving his Master of Arts in Pastoral Administration in 2000.

Bob loved to go on Saturday bike rides with his son Dayle, play cards, sail, travel, and most of all being with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janice of Mesquite, NV; son, Dayle of Central Coast, CA; his daughter, Carolyn of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Shirley, Eileen, Mary and his brother, Howard. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Matthew Hayden and his mother, Ada Ellen Hayden.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Mesquite Lutheran Church, 450 Turtleback Rd. Mesquite, NV 89027.
