Robert C. Johnston (Bob)
Bob Johnston, 62, passed away December 25, 2011 in Beaver Dam, AZ. He was born June 12, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Wayne and Audrey Johnston. He attended St. Ann Catholic School and Granite High School. Bob married Cheryl A. Fivas June 19, 1993.
He served in the U.S. Army 1968 to 1970 during the Vietnam War, he drove transports and was a sharp shooter. Bob worked for the Boilemakers Union and traveled a lot until he bought the Beaver Creek Inn in Samak, Utah where he met many good and dear friends.
Survived by his wife Cheryl Ann, brothers Jim (Vickie), Tom (Teri), sister Susan Johnston, and sister-in-law Shauna Fivas, step-children David Hardy, Mark (Cindy), Ith and Karen Ith along with their children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Judy.
Services will be held at Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah on Friday, December 30, 2011. A viewing will be at 11:00 a.m. with graveside services to follow at 12:00
