Robert Edward Brannan passed away on July 8, 2008 at Dixie Medical Center in St. George, Utah. Robert was born on March 27, 1940 in Lincoln, Illinois to Clifford and Geneva Brannan, however, he was raised by his loving Uncle and Aunt, Wallace and Melba Morgan.

Robert, who went by Bob, graduated from Monrovia High School in California in 1958. That same year he joined the United States Navy. He was proud of his country and to have served it. In 1962, Robert married Martha Carol Roberts. They had three children, Mickey, Kerry and Erin Brannan, and were married until Martha's death in 1978. In 1979, he married Maxine Anderson until her death in 1987. In 1994, Robert married Margarita Minjarez, they remained married until his death.

Robert was a salesman most of his adult life and won many awards for Top Salesman and Salesman of the Year. He was very personable and easy going. Robert moved to Mesquite in 1998 and worked at the casino Sports Book, and at "Coffee Bob's." Robert loved to golf and would be buried on the 18th hole if he could. He will be missed dearly.

Robert is survived by his wife Margarita Brannan of Mesquite; his son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Elsa Brannan of Yucaipa, California; his daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Demetrio Serna of Mesquite; sisters Judy Price and Janeice Steele; brother William Morgan and aunt Melba Morgan; as well as by his loving grandchildren, Ricky, Katie, Leslie, Joelene and Victor.

Services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 4 p.m. at Virgin Valley Mortuary. Anyone who would like to attend is welcome.
