Rita Rosemary Stanley, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2011. She was born April 10, 1951 in Dickinson, North Dakota to Louis and Monica Keller Tysver. Rita was raised in North Dakota and lived in California for 10 months. She married Arthur John Stanley on April 10, 1970 in Dickinson, North Dakota.. They moved to Mesquite in 2005.
Rita enjoyed being with her grandchildren and playing bingo. She attended La Virgen de Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Rita is survived by her husband Art, of Mesquite, NV; father; Louis; daughter Lisa (Cory) Ladwig of Mesquite, NV; sons Roger of CA, Robert (Brooke) of Dickinson, ND, and Ryan (Lindsey) of St. George, UT; sisters Darlene Ash, Marian, Gloria (Martin) and Bernice; brothers Richard (Bonnie), Ronald, Donald (Marcetta), Kenny (Phylis) and Keith (Tammy); six grandchildren Kristina, A.J., Stephen, Joshua, Logan and Nolan. She was preceded in death by her mother; and one sister Beverly.
Services will be held Saturday, October 1 at 11:00 am at Virgin Valley Mortuary, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Interment will take place on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 10:40 am at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
