Rita Anna O'Toole, age 78, died June 28, 2008 at her daughter's home in Overton, Nevada. She was born September 18, 1929 in Bronx, New York to John and Anna Skrok Noga. On September 10, 1950 she married James Francis O'Toole in the Bronx, New York. He preceded her in death on September 20, 1991.
Rita grew up in the Bronx. As a young girl, she worked at Macy's and participated in the Macy's Parade as a Majorette. She raised her family on Long Island, New York before moving to Arizona in 1973. She was currently living in Carefree, Arizona. She enjoyed dancing and was a member of the "Cactus Kickers" in Carefree. She was a great mother and a caring friend and will be sorely missed..
Survivors include two daughters and one son: Kathleen Ann O'Toole (William Duffey) of Overton, NV; Karen Louise O'Toole of Carefree, AZ; James Francis (Lisa) O'Toole of Carefree, Arizona and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. Private memorial services will be held in Carefree, Arizona.
