Rick Adams

Rick L Adams, age 46, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born July 11, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Larry T and Patricia Ann Leavitt Adams.

Rick grew up in Overton, graduating from Moapa Valley High School in 1985. He earned his Bachelor's Degree at San Diego State and his Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Alabama. He worked as a corporate trainer in the Banking Industry in Atlanta, Georgia and the Washington DC area. He recently moved to Las Vegas to start a position with TJ Maxx and to be near his family. He enjoyed reading, music, writing and shopping. Survivors include his father, Larry (Martina) of Henderson, NV; one sister and three brothers, Vivie Biddle of Las Vegas, NV; Kelly (Mike Evensen) of Salt Lake City, UT; Bryce (Emily) of Logandale, NV; Kiley (Cheryl-Lynn) of Las Vegas, NV; step sister, Diana Cervantes of Las Vegas, NV; step brothers, Hector and Jorge Cervantes of Henderson, NV; half brother, Larry Lee Adams of Henderson, NV; seven nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pat. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
