Richard Morgan

Richard Lee Morgan, 79 passed away February 14, 2015 in Mesquite, NV . He was born July 16, 1935 in Hollywood, California to William and Evelyn Walters Rosenberger. On December 18, 1994 he married Marie Elizabeth Henning Morgan in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on April 6, 2011.
Richard grew up in California. He served in the US Navy, and then enlisted in the US Air Force where he served for over 20 years, retiring in 1974. He continued to work in aviation, an occupation he loved. He retired to Mesquite, Nevada, but continued to work at the Player's Island and later at the Casa Blanca. He enjoyed fishing, astronomy and his pet cats.
Richard was active in the Loyal Order of Moose, The Elks Lodge and The Local Mesquite VFW.
Although he never had children, he made many friends over the years.
A memorial Graveside will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mesquite City Cemetery.
