Richard Allen Gott, 83, passed away on November 16, 2018 in Mesquite, NV. He was born on November 30, 1934 in Bar Harbor, ME to Milton Gott and Cecelia Cousin. Richard married Mary "Kate" Bach on November 29, 2008 in Mesquite, NV.

Richard was a father, husband, brother, and a true friend to all he came in contact with. He loved the outdoors, especially when he was fishing or creating in his garage. He was always there ready to help people with projects, work related and otherwise. He believed in honesty and a hard day’s work, and had a quick smile to all who knew him. He will be missed by many, from California to Maine. We will never forget him. He left behind many who loved and respected him.

He is survived by his wife; Mary "Kate" Gott, his children; Robert Allen (Annie) Gott, Cindy Louise Maio, Nathan Fredrick (Amornat) Gott, and Frank Joseph (Ann) Gott, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and his three sisters; Louise Miller, Mary Jane "Cookie" Gott, and Pearl Jordan. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, his sister; Marie Totah, and his brother; Fred Gott.

There will be Viewing Services on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Virgin Valley Mortuary 320 E. Old Mill Road, Mesquite, NV, with a Celebration of Life to follow with the family. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www.virginvalleymortuary.com.
