A loving father, brother, and son, Rick passed away peacefully at his home in Mesquite, Nevada on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 with his family at his side after a lengthy battle with Alcoholism.
Richard Carl Cilensek was born on March 8, 1960 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Carl and Shirley (Meyer) Cilensek. He married Paula Brown and had one son, Benjamin Carl Cilensek. He spent most of his life as a General Contractor in Wyoming. He was well known as a prankster and loved hunting, fishing, cooking, and being outdoors. Rick was a member of the Saint Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Cilensek, his father Carl Cilensek, and recently his dog and best pal Roo Bear. Survivors include his mother, Shirley Cilensek of Rock Springs, WY; son, Benjamin Carl (Alexie Pitsch) Cilensek; two sisters, Cindy (Bill) Current of Rock Springs, WY and Cheryl (Lee) Harrelson of Sheridan, WY; four nieces, Stephanie and Jenny Current, and Jessica and Christian Harrelson; extended family members Paula, David, and Jeff Brown; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dogs Snow Bear and Shy Bear.
