Rayanne Mae Walters

Rayanne Mae Walters, age 39, died Friday, February 5, 2021 in Logandale, Nevada. She was born November 28, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Gregory Arden Simpson, Sr. and Catherine Mary Vincent Simpson.  On May 3, 2003 she married Derrick C. Walters in Las Vegas.
Rayanne grew up in Las Vegas.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Phoenix.  She moved with her family to Logandale in 2013 and she worked at the Moapa Tribal Office as an administrator.  She loved being in the outdoors, fishing and boating at the lake, camping, running and she was very good at competitive skating.  She loved time with family, parties with friends and socializing.  Survivors include her husband, Derrick; two daughters: Kayla and Preslie all of Logandale, NV; her mother, Catherine Simpson of Las Vegas, NV; and her siblings: Carolyn Bloomfield of Florida, Mike Likens of Arkansas, Greg Arden  Simpson, Jr. of Las Vegas and Jason Michael Simpson of Las Vegas.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, Nevada.  Friends and family are invited to a visitation one hour prior to services at the mortuary.  Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.MoapaValleyMortuary.
