Raula Turnier

Raula Turnier, 68 passed away on April 19, 2016 at her home in Mesquite, Nevada. Raula was the born on Feb. 6, 1948 to Raul Gonzalez and Julia Loma in Oakland California. Raula loved the beautiful landscape of California where she grew up and graduated from High School. She later fell in love and married her best friend, Fred Turnier on December 19, 1964. She was very active and athletic, and loved to travel and enjoy the beauties of nature. Raula always had a great love for softball and traveled throughout the United States playing as outfielder. Raula will be remembered for her contagious smile, her love for life, her desire to always be outgoing and active, and for making everyone around her happy. She loved people and loved to work and assist them whenever she could. She worked many years as an Administrative Clerk for Clark County in Las Vegas, Nevada. Raula is survived by her husband Frederick Frank Turnier; three children, Shawn, Fred, and Aaron, and three beautiful grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Guillen.
