Ranae Waite

RaNae Waite, age 62, passed away suddenly at her home in Logandale, Nevada on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. She was born August 11, 1952 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Curtis Bud and Beth Renee Wendelboe Waite.

RaNae grew up in Las Vegas. She attended Weber State College for a short time, then she earned her degree in cosmetology. In 1981 she moved to Logandale where she worked as a bookkeeper. RaNae was a loving, friendly person that really cared for young people. She loved working in the Primary at church, and encouraging the youth to do and be their very best. She loved serving in the Temple. She had a special relationship with her mother and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her mother, Beth Waite of Logandale, NV; two brothers and one sister: Steven (Robyn) of Las Vegas, NV; Leslie (Russ) Talbot of St. George, UT; Troy of Las Vegas, NV and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Curt and her brother, Garry.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Logandale LDS Hinckley Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, September 26, 2014 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary and again from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the chapel prior to services. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
