Rachel Marie Parent

Rachel Marie Parent was born May 31, 1987 in Las Vegas Nevada.  She was the first of four children that would bless the Parent home. Rachel’s family moved to Moapa, NV on April 8, 1988. There she attended Ute B. Perkins Elementary, Mack Lyon Middle School and graduated from Moapa Valley High School.  Rachel had many friends. Everyone who met her loved her.  She was beautiful, kind, charismatic, and had a bubbly personality and love for life. She made everything more fun.  She was a fiercely loyal friend and a loving and devoted sibling and daughter. Perhaps Rachel would tell us that her greatest accomplishment was bringing Naomi Kay-Lyn into the world on February 9, 2018. She was the delight of her mother’s heart.

Rachel graduated from this mortal life on December 4, 2022. There she was greeted by both sets of her grandparents. She is survived by her mother and father, Kay and Louis Frank Parent, of Moapa, NV; a sister, Sarah Parent; and two brothers, Matthew and Sean; her daughter Naomi;  too many loving and devoted cousins to mention, and two ex-husbands.

A Memorial Service will held Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Moapa Chapel, 1420 E. Barlow Dr., Moapa, NV 89025.  Friends and family are invited to sign the online guestbook at www.Moapa.ValleyMortuary.com
