Quirino Rubio Castro, age 73, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at his home in Moapa, Nevada. He was born May 26,1946 in Barranca de Otates, Jalisco, Mexico to Quirino Rubio and Andrea Castro. He married Gaudelia "Delia" Vidrio Avila in Mexico. She preceded him in death on August 14, 1996.
Quirino grew up in Mexico and always had a love for the country. He loved to visit friends and family in Mexico throughout his life. Hemoved to California in 1969 and eventually settled in Moapa Valley in1988. He loved to dance and socialize, watching TV (especially Spanish Soap Operas) and to spend time talking with friends and family.
Survivors include three sons and four daughters: Evelia (Lino) Rubio of Las Vegas, NV; Esmelia Rubio Vidrio of Guadalajara, MX; Senaida Rubio Moreno of Overton, NV; Jose (Rebeca) Rubio of Logandale, NV; Maximo (Evelia) Rubio of Moapa, NV; Leticia (Gerardo) Hernandez of Moapa, NV; Quirino Ramon (Laura) Rubio of Overton, NV; 25 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; onebrother, Jose Rubio and one sister, Otilia Rubio both of Mexico.
A visitation and Rosary will be held in his honor on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 6 -8 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, Logandale, NV. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, Logandale, NV. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
