Paul Bridgeman Meagher

Paul B. Meagher, age 75, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 6, 2010. He was born April 8, 1935 in Hartford, CT to Edward and Mae Meagher.

Paul served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp in the Korean war. He was a member of the Las Vegas Marine Corp League (Leatherneck Club), the V.F.W, the Teamsters Union (631) and served as the State Secretary of the Travelers Protective Assn.

Paul moved to Las Vegas in 1960 where he met and married his life-long loving wife, Sandy. Their love began at the Nevada test site where they met. They have been married for 48 years. He devoted his life to his wife and family. Paul was an avid golfer and loved to attend all sporting events that his son and grandchildren played in. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy of Moapa, NV; Son, John (Sheila) Meagher of Pueblo, CO; Daughter, Debbie (Ron) Miclette of Hartford, CT; Sister, Virginia (Don) Erickson of Medford, OR; many Nieces and Nephews, 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Edward and Mae Meagher; Daughter, Kathy Meagher; Granddaughter, Rachael Young; Sister, Mae Chandler; Three Brothers, William, Robert (RJ) and Edward Meagher and his cherished dog, Honey.

A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel in Moapa, NV off Highway 168.
