Patty Lou Childs, age 75, died Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born January 9, 1945 in Chadron, Nebraska to Cleo Alton and Mary Elinor Jolley Rodocker. On September 9, 1961 she married her sweetheart of 59 years, Stuart Vincent Childs in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Patty grew up in Newcastle, Wyoming. She raised her family in Lander, Wyoming while she worked for the State Employment Division. Later she opened a floral shop where she loved working with flowers and interacting with her customers. She also did a fine job of bookkeeping for the family storage company. She loved golfing, baking and spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed the warmth of Mesquite for the last eleven winters.

Survivors include her sweetheart, Stuart; two daughters: Debra (Paul) Avery of Riverton, WY; Brenda Childs of Mesquite, NV; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Kleo Goforth.
