Patricia Ann "Pat" Waite, age 67, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born November 6, 1940 in Pueblo, Colorado to Alfred Jack Renfro and Kathryn Ann McNear. On November 12, 1960 she married Ronald Edward Waite in St. George LDS Temple. He passed away suddenly on November 6, 1986.

Pat grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon. As a teenager she lived in Stockton / Rio Vista, California and she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada as a young woman where she met and married her sweetheart. After they were married, they raised their family in Logandale, Nevada and Northern Nevada as they moved around with Ron's work with the State Department of Transportation. In 1985 she opened the Flower Shoppe in Overton. She operated this shop until she sold it in 2004.

She was always active in the LDS Church, serving in many different callings. She enjoyed sewing and crafts. She sewed many costumes for the school plays. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially the many trips to Disneyland.

Survivors include two sons and three daughters: Sulinda (Mike) Myers of Cedar City, UT; Paula (Landon) Hughes of Mesquite, NV; Eddie of Las Vegas, NV; Marvin "Tom" (Julia) of Logandale, NV; Rhonda (Tom) Potter of Overton, NV; 23 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and two brothers: Edward (Cynthia) Renfro of Durango, CO and Phillip (Linda) Renfro of Boise, ID.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Logandale Hinckley Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel.
