Patricia Ann Grow

Patricia Ann "Pat" Grow, age 67, died Monday, December 15, 2013 at her home in Overton, Nevada. She was born October 5, 1946 in Ogden, Utah to Robert Grant and Eva Rogerson Jordan. On March 17, 1967 she married Douglas Craig Grow in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2010.

Pat grew up in Ogden, Utah. She earned her Teaching degree at Utah State University in Logan. She later received her Master's degree from Northern Arizona University. She taught Home Economics where she was the advisor for FHA. She coached track, cross country and tennis at Moapa Valley High School. After 28 years of being a fun, positive influence on many youth, she retired in 2006. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, her animals and going to the cabin. She will be remembered for her sassy, spunky, and witty sense of humor.

Survivors include one son, Robert of St. George, UT; one daughter, Tricia McCafferty of Las Vegas, NV and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Overton LDS 4th Ward Hinckley Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the chapel. Interment will be in the Logandale Cemetery under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
