Patricia "Trish" Bracknell, age 58, went home to be with the Lord, April 16, 2013 in the comfort of her home in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born September 15, 1954 in Nassau, The Bahamas to Bud and Nan Hartel.
Trish grew up all over the United States as her family moved frequently. She graduated from Marion High School in New York. After high school she served her country with pride by serving in the US Air Force. After a short stint in the US Air Force, she made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho where she worked for the US Postal Service.
On June 15, 1991 she married her soul-mate, Garvie "Bish" Bracknell in Libby, Montana. Trish received her Bachelors degree in Computer Aided Drafting from ITT Technical Institute. She enjoyed snow-birding to California where she built many happy memories. In 2008, Trish and Garvie happily settled in Mesquite, Nevada where the community quickly grew close to her smile. Trish was fond of her new found family at Calvary Chapel.
She enjoyed camping, the ocean, being with her family, making bead jewelry, and delivering happiness through the Word of God. She will be remembered for her strength, perseverance, selflessness, and love for the Lord.
She is survived by her loving husband, Garvie of Mesquite, NV; her five children: Dana Bracknell; Teri (Brian) Medina of Idaho Falls, ID; Sandi (Doug) Landon of Rigby, ID; Joseph (Amy) Hartel of Oklahoma City, OK; K.C. (Rick) Nii of Rigby, ID; 20 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; siblings, Kathy (Herbert) Kornprobst of Germany; Beth (Al) Barone of Eugene, OR; Bud (Lori) Hartel of San Diego, CA; Danny (Leslie) Hartel of Fullerton, NY and Joanne (Allen) Eisenbeis of Idaho Falls, ID. She has been reunited in heaven with her parents, Bud and Nan, her brother Ed, and her grandson Jade. Trish was a wonderful loving example whose life and faith had a profound impact on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed. A Hui hou kakou~Until we meet again. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Calvary Chapel, 786 W.
