Pamela Ann (Moore) Leavitt

July 5, 1959 — January 1, 2018

Pamela Ann Leavitt, 58, passed away on January 1, 2018 in Mesquite, NV. She was born to Herbert Conrad Moore and Margaret Ann Cartwright on July 5, 1959 in Whittier, CA.

Pamela grew up in Southern California and moved to Las Vegas, NV when she was twelve. She attended Las Vegas High School, but then she moved to the Bunkerville area with her family. She sang in a band for several years while her kids were young, and loved to go dancing with her best friend, Becky. She liked going on walks, camping, fishing, reading, and crochet. She and the kids would stay up late watching suspenseful movies and documentaries. Whenever the grandchildren came over, they would play Yahtzee, and she and her granddaughters would paint their nails together. If you wanted to be on Pam’s good side, you could bribe your way with Dr. Pepper and Bit O’ Honeys. She was very kind hearted, and was quick to give encouragement or say a kind word. Her kids, grandchildren, and her dog, Webster (her “fur baby”) meant everything to her.

Pamela is survived by her children; Margie Leavitt of Nevada, Evan Jr. (Kacey) Leavitt of Oregon, Lucas (Amanda) Sherman of Arizona, David Leavitt of Nevada, and Joe Sherman of Arizona, her grandchildren; Daniel Sherman, Janson Sherman, Aiden Sherman, Brea Leavitt, Kruz Leavitt, Brielle Wood, and Jaxson Leavitt, and her siblings; Bruce Barton, Renae Barton, Connie (Dennis) Shrieber and Warren Moore. She is preceded in death by her parents; Margret and Herb, and her brother; Jim Davis.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 ,11:00 a.m., at the Bunkerville Cemetery on 650 Canal Road, Bunkerville, NV. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www.virginvalleymortuary.com.
