Ogla Betty Lyding, 87, passed away on March 17, 2020 in Mesquite, NV. Olga was born on July 17, 1932 in Beddington, Alberta, Canada to Stephen Konyecski and Matilda Gudheil. She married Lewis L. Lyding in Calgary, Alberta on August 30, 1957.

Olga loved her life and loved the people around her. She loved to dance and taught lessons in Alberta. When Lewis met Olga, he paid for special classes to spend time with her, and they were later married. She and Lewis traveled around the world as they worked for a oil drilling company, until their daughter, Linda, was born. Olga was a great cook, and cooked Hungarian food for the men on the oil rigs. She worked as an administrator over the records department in several hospitals over the years. Olga had a tremendous faith in God and loved to pray. She was a very charitable person. Olga spent her last few years with her good friend and neighbors, Rick and Paule Malone and her three puppies.

Olga is survived by her sister, Irene. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Lyding and her daughter, Linda Lyding.
