Norma Kay Walton, age 81, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 in St. George, Utah. She was born December 21, 1930 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Melvin Grant and Helen Theresa Seeley Roylance. In 1957 she married Trevor Clyde Walton in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had four children and were later divorced. Norma grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho. She attended one year of college at BYU before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. She raised her family in Las Vegas while working for Centel, later Sprint Telephone Company. She was always active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served a mission to the Maperville Chicago Illinois Mission as an employment specialist. She enjoyed reading, cooking and classical music. Survivors include three sons and one daughter: J.R. (Charla) of Las Vegas, NV; Kim (Mike) Cope of Logandale, NV; Richard of Las Vegas, NV; Grant (Shelly) of Riverton, UT; 16 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one sister, Deanna Bigelow of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter and one grandson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Logandale Stake Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
