Norman Glenn Wright, age 65, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at his home in Alamo, Nevada. He was born December 3, 1950 to Warren Arthur and Irene Sineth Nielson Wright in Hurricane, Utah. On January 30, 1988 he married Angela Mary Gordon in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Norm grew up in Hurricane, Utah and Henderson, Nevada. He served in the US Navy. He enjoyed working for Foreland Refining Corporation as a truck driver. His hobbies included working on muscle cars, watching NASCAR and Drag Racing, camping, karaoke and annual boat trips to Lake Powell. Always an avid Elvis fan, he enjoyed his trip to Graceland with his daughter.
Survivors include his wife, Angela; four sons and two daughters: Glenn Wright of Bend, OR; John (Suzy) of Lovelock, NV; Billy Wright of Las Vegas, NV; Autumn Gordon of McGill, NV; Neil Wright of Alamo, NV; Lisa (Tex) Williamson of Cedar City, UT; 17 grandchildren; three brothers and one sister: Allene (Arden) Stratton; Ronald (Janet) both of Hurricane, UT; Donald of Little Rock, AR; Neil (Lyn) of Hurricane, UT; sister in law, Kathrine Wright of Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Arthur.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Alamo LDS Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow in the Alamo Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
