Noel Lewis Chamberlain, age 77, died Thursday, September 6, 2012 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born December 25, 1934 in Kanab, Utah to Adolphia Lewis and Leona Rider. Noel and her husband Kelton were sealed in the St. George Temple, June 5, 1956.
Noel loved sewing, gardening, cooking, reading, doing crafts, and her flowers. She served faithfully in scouting, as a church librarian, and in the Relief Society. She did many hours of family history work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Noel was a wonderful, kind, loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by many.
Survivors include her son, Bryan Leo (Ruth) of Bunkerville, NV; her two daughters, Terri Lee Christensen (John) of Orem, UT and Krista Lyn (Michael) Bennett of Mesquite, NV; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and one sister, Ilona Petty of St. George, UT. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Arold and Elvin; and two sisters, Edwina and Verna.
Graveside services will be held at the Mesquite Cemetery on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 10 am. Arrangements are under the care of the Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road, Mesquite, NV.
