Nancy May Hamer

Nancy May Hamer Nancy May Hamer, 77, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born March 10, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Peter and Mamie Rossi Carollo. Nancy grew up in Chicago and married Dan Branchini. Together they had three children before separating. Nancy moved to Las Vegas in the 1970's and met and married Ron Hamer. She came to Mesquite in 2006 to be closer to her family.

Nancy was a devote member of the Catholic Church and blessed everyone with her musical talent. She sang in the choir and played the piano. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and using the computer. She was a member of the Red Hats for a period.

She is survived by three children Daniel (Pam) Branchini of Las Vegas, Nevada, James (Laura) Branchini of Mesquite, Nevada, Diane Branchini of Mesquite, two brothers Al Carollo and Jim Carollo, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Ron Hamer and a brother Bob Carollo.

A Rosary will be held at 11:30 am followed by a Memorial Mass on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the La Virgin de Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mesquite. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Society in Nancy Hamer's name.
