Many memories were made there before he moved back to Utah, then to Las Vegas after his wife died.

Mazel was a born leader who rose to the top of every job. He worked at Stauffer Chemical in Henderson, Payne & Keller in Louisiana and Salt Lake and Las Vegas Paving in Las Vegas. He had a quick wit and always liked to joke, tease and show love and kindness to his family. He will truly be missed.

Survivors include four sons and three daughters: Kelly (Anne); Kathi (JW) Walizer; Kayleen (Darrell - deceased) Shakespear; Kerry; Keith (Jaylene); Kody (Julie); Karlin; 26 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his one infant son, his parents, two brothers: Denny and Jay and one sister, Marie Zohner.
