Myron Neal "Mike" Robbins

Myron Neal "Mike" Robbins, age 77, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at his home in Overton, Nevada. He was born February 12, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri to Louis and Edythe Lund Robbins. On December 21, 1975 he married Elaine Benner in Northridge, California. Mike grew up in Oklahoma. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict as a Navy Seal. He lived in California for many years working as a CPA, motivational speaker and as a successful businessman. He enjoyed scuba diving and playing golf. For many years, he captained their small yacht out of San Diego Harbor. He will be remembered as a dynamic, caring and charismatic man. Survivors include one son, Darin Robbins of Las Vegas, NV; three step sons, James Gale of Kalama, WA; Daniel Gale of Lebec, CA; Robert Gale of Covina, CA and one sister, Dusty Bernstein of Palm Desert, CA. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Marni Greenberg. Memorial services will be held Friday, August 2, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Overton Chapel.
