Beaver Dam, AZ - Michael Earl Welch, 68, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the home he loved, surrounded by his family. He was born January 10, 1947 in Bellefountaine, OH to Edgar Earl and Imogene Mae McClaran Welch. He married Joan Hall on November 23, 1969. Mike was born and raised throughout the state of Ohio. It was his honor to serve in the Vietnam War with the 101st Airborne division. He was a proud member of the Local 669 Sprinkler Fitters Union and traveled for work throughout the United States. He would have been lost without his Toyota Landcruiser, a fishing pole, and a gun. He had a strong zest for life, and a deep love for his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all of those fortunate to have known him. We will love you always, and forget you never. He is survived by his mother Jean, his three daughters Michelle Welch-North, Amber Welch-Kuefler, Audrey Nycklemoe, his precious grand-daughter Madysen Welch, brother Tony, sister Robyn (Gary) Penix, nieces and nephew. Preceded in death by his father Edgar, and his baby girl Dara. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 16th from 2 pm until whenever at his home.
