Michael Dennis Robison

Michael Dennis Robison, 52, passed away on April 12, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada from complications of Huntington's Disease.

Michael was born in Redwood City, California on June 20, 1962. The son of Bryant and Darlene Robison, Michael grew up in Logandale, Nevada and loved the valley. He graduated from Moapa Valley High School in 1980 and received his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in 1986. He went on to receive his Master's Degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Michael was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, was involved in the Boy Scouts of America, and received his Eagle Scout Rank. He also served an honorable mission in Padova, Italy.

Michael had great love for his country, proudly wearing the uniforms of the U.S. Navy and the Utah National Guard. He was an avid reader and loved reading about the Civil War and World War II. He enjoyed playing sports, especially fencing, and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Michael married Cynthia Tracy on January 18, 1992 and was later divorced. He married Lorene Robison on December 21, 1996 in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple in America Fork, Utah and they lived in Nevada most of their married life.

For nearly four years, Michael lived at the Highland Manor in Mesquite, Nevada where he was surrounded by caring, professional people.

Michael is survived by his wife, Lorene Hone Robison; his son, Brennan Michael (Megan) Robison, Idaho Falls, Idaho; his twin daughters Mikenzie Marie and Mikayla Daniella; his siblings, Scott Johnson Robison, Logandale; Linda Lewis, Logandale; Melissa (Ferran) Hunt of Blackfoot, Idaho; and grandson, Brailyn Patrick Robison. He is also survived by a birth family, James Boronda, Richard "Jeff" Boronda, Jeanie Ruffner, Marc Ruffner, Linda Perez, Greg Calderon, and Sandi Calderon.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the new Logandale Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. and again from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the Chapel. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
