Michael Paul Mcintyre

Mike was born to Everett and Anita McIntyre in Akron, Ohio. As an army brat, he lived all over Europe and the United States. He grew into a man who loved his family and friends. Mike was always supportive and available when anyone needed him. Anyone who knew him, knew his great sense of humor. He always made you laugh.

Mike married his best friend and soul-mate, Deborah Condit in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 12, 1977. He was an avid skydiver with over 1,000 jumps. He was a Master skydiver, an Instructor and Rigger. He jumped from Cessna’s, Twin Beaches, helicopters and hot air balloons. If it got high enough, he would jump out of it. He was well liked and respected in the sport.

Mike was an adventurer and hiked down through South America. He raced and built motorcycles and he and Debbie took many long bike trips around the western United States. He later built canoes and kayaks.

Mike was an entrepreneur but was also widely known and highly respected as the "Legend" in the roofing industry. His knowledge was sought after by various roofing companies and he was asked to train up and coming roofers as he was considered one of the best in his field.

Mike loved the Lord and fellowshipped regularly at Calvary Chapel in Mesquite, Nevada. He knew God’s mercy and grace through throat cancer, a feeding tube and COPD. His heart’s desire was for his family and friends to know Jesus as Savior.

In 2007, he began writing children’s stories and a collection of short stories and continued writing until his death. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Anita; and his brother Everett Jr. He is survived by his wife Debbie; his two sons Aaron and Clinton; his 7 grandchildren Michelina, Megan, Kiera, Alyssa, Andrea, Zachary and Joseph; his two sisters Dorothy and Bonnie and nieces and nephews too numerous to name.
