Michael Richard Glieden, age 61, died Thursday, April 21, 2022, in St. George, Utah. He was born August 24, 1960, in Richmond, California to Richard Ambrose and Karlynn Sue Adkins Glieden. On September 14, 1985, he married Joyce Marguerite Lindner in Park City, Utah.
He spent his childhood in Dublin, California. His family then relocated to Park City, UT during his teenage years. After marriage he and Joyce started their family in Park City and later moved to West Jordan, Utah where he worked as a police officer for Midvale City PD. The family then moved to Mesquite, Nevada a town they fell in love with after a visit to Jack in the Box for Michael’s beloved tacos. His first job after retirement was more like play as he was an exotic car driving instructor for Speed Vegas. He later worked as a Property Manager and Realtor for Premier Properties of Mesquite after the pandemic. He enjoyed golf, target shooting, traveling and spending time with family and eating Jack in the Box tacos!
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; two sons: Thomas and Brian both of Stansbury Park, UT; mother, Karlynn Glieden Jones of Mesquite, NV; brother, Shawn (Colleen) Glieden of Mesquite, NV and sister Kara (Tim) Vella of Rohnert Park, California, he also leaves behind his two beloved grandchildren Athena and Damon. Michael was preceded in death by his Father Richard A Glieden.
