Michael Bruce Eldridge, age 74 died Sunday, April 5, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born October 29, 1940 to Eldon Charles Eldridge and Christine I. Rosen in Seattle, Washington.
Mike was raised in Seattle and later was a proud member of the first ever graduating class of Mercer Island High School in Mercer Island, WA. Mike served in the Army in California and was a proud graduate of the University of Washington, thus, an avid Huskie fan. Mike married Tana M Palmiero in June of 1976 and four years later moved to Othello, Washington where after working for Tony Palmiero at Harvest Fresh Produce, he and his partners bought the business. Mike loved to fish and golf. He and his Son Scott traveled numerous times to Alaska to catch salmon and halibut. Mike was a devoted fan of the Seahawks and the Mariners but most of all Ichiro. Most summer evenings after golf was spent at Othello Golf Club with best friend Doug Buck.
On a vacation several years ago Mike fell in love with Mesquite, Nevada and purchased a home there to enjoy during the winter months. He spent so much time at the Virgin River Casino it has been referred to as "Mikey Daycare".
Michael is survived by his wife Tana of Othello, Daughter Michelle Lekwa (Terje), Son Scott Eldridge, Brother Dennis Eldridge (Pat), Sister Julaine McGowan (John), and three Grandchildren: Emily, Paige and Sean.
There will be a celebration of life for Mike on May 23rd at Othello Golf Club.
