Mesquite, Nevada - Bob Wyatt, 89, passed away on the 26th day of September 2008 quietly in his home at Mesquite, Nevada. He was born on December 23 1915 in Cerci, Arkansas, to Ola Meyers and Robert Alsey Wyatt. He had been married to his first wife for 50 years Ruth Beatrice Vaughn they married in Philadelphia, PA, on January 19, 1945. Then after her passing he married his second wife Mary Allard; the marriage took place in Mesquite, NV on December 2nd 1995.
Bob was born in Cerci, Arkansas and raised there in his formative years till his move to Arizona during high school after which the family moved to Modesto, CA, to farm. In Modesto he joined the Navy. In the Navy he met his first wife. He retired from the Navy after 20 years of service as a Chief Petty Officer. He retired to Yuma, AZ, and lived their till the passing of his first wife Ruth then he met his second wife and they moved to Mesquite, Nevada. He was a long time member of the Fraternal Order of the Mason's. He had been a jet mechanic in the Navy and continued working in the same field for the military in Yuma after his retirement from the Navy. He had been an avid hunter and enjoyed camping and fishing a great deal.
He is survived by his son Jim Wyatt in California and by his step son Bill Nielsen living in Georgia also his step daughter Carol Coles living in Utah. He preceded in death his wife Mary by one week. They will both be laid to rest at the same time.
