McKenzie Marie Cauley, age 14, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born November 26, 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
McKenzie spent her childhood in Moapa, Las Vegas, and most recently Goldfield, Nevada. She loved playing basketball, and raising chickens. She also enjoyed ballet, dance, and photography. She was a very funny, and outgoing young girl.
Survivors include her father, James (Heather Katick) Dufour of Goldfield, NV; her mother, Heather Souza of Dolan Springs, AZ; grandfather, Randy Dufour of Stockton, CA; grandmother, Penny &Blu Hyde of Moapa, NV; grandmother, Bethann and Bill Talton of Las Vegas, NV; one brother and three sisters: Alizabeth, Jazmen and Austin Dufour of Goldfield, NV and Emily Salzman of CA and best friend Dave.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, Nevada. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 6 -8 p.m. at the Mortuary, and again prior to the service Wednesday morning from 9 - 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Logandale Cemetery.
