Mary Yvonne (Bonnie) Nielson Underwood Ruth
Bonnie Ruth was born July 19, 1934 in Leamington, Utah to Wallace and Viola Yates Nielson. She married Vance Underwood in February 1951. They were later divorced. She married Narvin (Tyke) Ruth in November 1969.
She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She started her life in Leamington and lived in Eureka, Utah, Bunkerville, NV, Santaquin, UT, Cottonwood, AZ and Littlefield, AZ. She loved life, and her children and grandchildren were her main purpose in life. She loved her knickknacks and her dolls. The easiest way to put a smile on her face was to show up with a new doll or decoration. She was always kind and thoughtful of others.
She is survived by her husband Tyke; sons, Dennis (Kate) Underwood (Santaquin, Utah); Eddie (Tina) Underwood, Youngwood, Pennsylvania; Daughters, Connie (Henry) Lopez, Okeechobee, FL; Joanna (Marvin) Harper, Cottonwood, AZ; Peggy Underwood, Cottonwood, AZ; Nancy (Chris) Price, Phoenix, AZ; Connie (Marty) Harbin, Chino Valley, AZ; Barbara Julius, Bunkerville, NV. 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Ricky and daughters, Beverly and Tammy.
A viewing will be held at the Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E Old Mill Road, Mesquite, NV on Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held at the Bunkerville Cemetery on Monday, January 26 at 11 a.m.
