Mary Beth Piper

Mary Beth Piper, age 76, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born March 21, 1936 in Rifle, Colorado to Hayden and Mamie Henry Jones. She married Carl T. Piper June 13, 1956 in Leadville, Colorado. Mary Beth grew up in Rifle, Colorado and graduated from Rifle Union High School in the class of 1954. She and Carl raised their family in Ely, Nevada and moved to Logandale in 1983. Mary Beth was a great cook and she especially loved making Thanksgiving Dinner, now it won't be the same. She loved her pets and baby animals. She also enjoyed ceramics. She is survived by her husband, Carl of Overton, NV; one daughter, Loree Beth of Las Vegas, NV; one son, Russell Paul of Grand Junction, CO; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her brother Edgar Jones and her sister Kathleen Cook. Mary Beth requested no memorial or funeral services.
