Mary Dorothy (Eberling) Hilla

Mary left us for heaven on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.  She had just recently celebrated her 100th birthday. Mary was born in Froid, Montana on November 1, 1919.  She was one of 9 children born to Christ and Lizzie Eberling.   Mary is preceded in death by her husband; Leonard, whom she had been married to for 68 years.

Mary has been in Mesquite for the last 8 ½ years. She retired as a Registered Nurse after 40 plus years.  She loved her job and enjoyed helping people.  She also loved gardening and her crafts.  She was a great baker and enjoyed making pizzella’s and her bran muffins.  Mary had a great sense of humor and she will be sorely missed.

Mary is survived by her brother; Ed Eberling (Toni) and sister; Amy Damm, her daughter; Marilyn (Jonny) Akin, Mesquite, NV, her grandson; Ray (Aimee) Akin and great grandsons, from Indio, CA, also numerous nieces and nephews and extended family; Tawni and James Latter from Washington and their families. She is also preceded in death by her daughter; Patricia.
