Marvin Snow
Marvin Kent Snow, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born in Aberdeen, Idaho to William Lester and May morrison Snow on August 29, 1929. He was from a large family of 13 children. Marvin grew up in Idaho and joined the Army after he graduated from high school. In the Army he served as a front line medic and lived many places in his 20 year career. He was stationed in California, Korea, Hawaii, France, Colorado, Veitnam, and Germany. In April of 1985 he married Helen Irene Keller in Greeley, CO.
He wrote over 250 songs, enjoyed playing the guitar, and singing. Marvin liked working with his hands, he worked on electronics and built crystal chandeliers. He is survived by his wife Helen Snow of Mesquite, NV; a brother Ray Snow of St. George, UT and a sister Thelma Vollmer of St. George, UT.
