Martha Sue Harris

Martha Sue Harris, age 81, died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her daughter's home in Overton, Nevada. She was born May 2, 1935 in Lewisville, Arkansas to Walter Jackson and Myrtle Emily Coleman Snider. On May 2, 1955 she married Morgan Ashby Harris in Galveston, Texas. He preceded her in April of 1999.
Martha lived most of her life in Texas. She was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed serving the sisters in the ward and researching her family's genealogy. She was a hard worker, she enjoyed her 31+ years working in retail with Walmart. Her greatest joy came from being a wife and mother, as she selflessly cared for her family.
Survivors include five sons and two daughters: Micki (Rod) Briggs of Overton, NV; Morgan, Jr and Roger, both of Huffman, TX; John (Millissa) of Conroe, TX; Samuel (Kim) of Humble, TX; Robert (Theresa) of Conroe, TX; Mariann (Kenny) Thomas of Lewiston, IL; 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
