Marlene Vivian Grayman, age 70, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her home in Moapa, Nevada surrounded by her family. She was born January 25, 1948 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Lloyd Emmett Benn and Lillian Samson.
Marlene lived most of her life in Moapa. She enjoyed working in various departments at the Moapa Tribal offices. She also served on the Moapa Tribal Council. She enjoyed going to yard sales and collecting pottery and jewelry. Her greatest joy came from time with her family. She will be remembered for her integrity, her strength and for her fighting spirit through out all of her health challenges.
Survivors include her one son and two daughters: Lee Levi of Moapa, NV; Michelle Ojeda of Moapa, NV; Candice Grayman - Dent of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one sister, Lorraine Benn of Fredonia, AZ and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Ferlin and two brothers.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 3 p.m. at the Moapa Tribal Building, Moapa, Nevada. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. A Traditional Indian Sing will follow with Interment at Sunrise in the Moapa Indian Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
