Marjory Rose Farr
April 25, 1928 — June 15, 2014
Mesquite, NV- Margie, 86, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 in her home with her family at her side. She was born April 25, 1928 in Onoway, Alberta, Canada.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a strong testimony of the gospel. She had a great love for her two daughters and three grandchildren. She worked as a legal secretary for many years. Her love of the outdoors was evident throughout her 86 adventurous years, spending as much time as possible on camping trips. She loved to travel and loved listening to music including opera and classical piano.
She will be forever remembered for loving her family unconditionally.
She is survived by John Silva of Mesquite; daughters, Lori (Paul) McCullough of Holladay, UT, Elayne Huntsman of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Chelsea of Holladay, UT and Jessica of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Joy Roshinsky of Castlegar, Canada, and Ayleen Shervey of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. She was preceded in death by her brother Russell; sisters, Carol and Betty; and her granddaughter, Stephanie Leigh Huntsman.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 1:30 PM at the Mesquite City Cemetery.
