Marina (Gonzalez) Gomez

Marina Gomez Gonzalez, 84, passed away on November 26, 2020 in Las Vegas, NV. Marina was born on December 18,1935 in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico to Ramon Gonzalez and Petra Zavala. She married Pedro Gomez in Mexicali, Mexico on April 27, 1957, and enjoyed their marriage until his passing on January 20, 2006.

Marina was a great woman of faith, who loved God and her family above all. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was always helping those around her. She loved family get-togethers and visiting with them. She loved to crochet, garden, playing cards, and getting dolled up. She was very independent and stayed active into her old age. She loved her family, and was loved by everyone that knew her.

Marina is survived by her children, Pedro (Mely) Gomez, Jose (Edith) Gomez, Juan (Kerri) Gomez, Isaac (Maria) Gomez, Alma (Mario) Perez, Angelica (Jose) Perez, Julio (Lucina) Gomez, and Mario (Blanca) Gomez; her thirty grandchildren; her twenty-four great-grandchildren, her brother, Carlos Arana; and a large extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Gomez; her brother, Ramon Gonzalez; her sister, Maria Dolores Gonzalez; and her baby son, Gustavo Gomez.

Rosary services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020 and may be attended by live-stream. Mass Intentions will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. and may be attended by live-stream, with Graveside services following.
