Marilyn Duby Haynes

November 1, 1935 — August 9, 2015

Marilyn Duby Haynes, age 79, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 9, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born November 1, 1935 in Aztec, New Mexico to Abe and Rose Ulibarri Chavez. On December 4, 1954 she married Mendal Otis Haynes in Farmington, NM. They were later sealed in the St. George LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2010.

Marilyn grew up in Farmington. She was a loving, supportive wife, and a wonderful mother. They lived in many different places where Marilyn loved making new friends. She was a good home maker, she loved animals, and she cared about her family very much. She became an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings. She loved serving in the Young Women's and Primary organizations. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include one son and five daughters: Debbie (Bruce) Stratton of Logandale, NV; Vicki Brown of Las Vegas, NV; Val (Greg) Payne of Houston, TX; Mark of WA; Julie (Lonnie) Robbins of Henderson, NV; Carolyn (Michael) Tannehill both of Henderson, NV: 22 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters: Abe (Patsy) of Navajo Dam, NM; Her twin Carolyn Goodwin of St. George, UT; Diana (Tony) Pacheco of Farmington, NM and Kenneth (Cathy) of Farmington, NM. She was preceded in death by one son, Darrell and one grandson.

Memorial Services and Visitation will be Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
