Marianne Teresa Jefford

Marianne Teresa Jefford, age 59, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at her home in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born February 20, 1955 in Boston, Massachusetts to Vincenzo James and Evangeline Teresa DeJesus Valletta. On February 2, 1987 she married Garry Edward Jefford in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marianne was raised in San Diego, California. She raised her family in Bend, Oregon and moved to Mesquite in March of 2011. She owned and operated a daycare facility and later worked with handicapped children in the school system. She was a natural with children, she was always kind and they trusted her. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, traveling and interior design. Survivors include her husband, Garry of Mesquite; two daughters and one son: Melissa (Todd) Morris - Gorman of Bend, OR; Tessy (Moses) Silva and Dmitrius Jefford, both of Porterville, CA; five grandchildren; five brothers: Frank, Robert, Vincent, David (Alana) and James (Maritsa) all in the San Diego, California area. She was preceded in death by one son, Jacob.
