Margaret Anne Benson

Margaret Anne Benson (Marge), was born February 19, 1936 in Denver, Colorado to Walter F. Betts and Lucille Collier. She died on February 22, 2016. Margaret married her eternal companion, William H. Benson (Bill) on December 16, 1972, they have been married 43 years.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; sister, Dottie Roberts Denver; step children: Joni Ostheimer (Tom), William D. Benson (Shelley), Rhonda Carter (Mario Romeo) all from the Denver area; special cousin Dorothy Wyman of Craig, CO; sister and brother in laws: Robert Benson (Marty), Carol Canhan (Frank), Don Benson, Debbie Martinez (Rudy), Rick Benson (Kathy); 97 foster children, too many to name, but the two special ones are Cindi Llewellyn (Scott) and Jackie Gheen. So many Grandkids and Great Grandkids all over the country. All her extended family members, too many to name and don't want to forget any. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother George Cady.

Marge opened her door up to anyone in need and also her heart. The old saying, "she would give the shirt off of her back" probably came from her. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and she was able to go through the Salt Lake Temple with her husband. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Whipple Chapel, 121 Whipple Way in Mesquite, NV. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 12:00-1:30 pm.
